Lease renewalsQ. How can I ensure I have a right to renew my lease? A. Most business occupiers have the right to request a new lease under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 for up to 14 years. However, to secure this right you must comply with various legal requirements and with a strict timetable once "trigger" notices are served.
